Harlee is a PhD student working under Drs. Oscar Rocha and Mark W. Kershner at Kent State University's department of Biological Sciences. Harlee has a passion for entomology, ecology, data collection, and taxonomy. In their PhD dissertation, they are exploring the effects of forest structure and local habitat composition on insect communities and ecosystem function.
